Hi! I’m Dohyeong Serena Son, an exchange student from South Korea. I’m very glad to introduce myself. During the spring 2014 semester, I will be working at the University Press. My major is business management, focusing in marketing, and my minor is economics and politics. I will graduate in February 2015 with an integrated understanding of what I have learned.

When I had the opportunity to choose exchange school, I chose UNG without hesitation. Because my major is marketing, I knew should face to the world so I could use what is going to come in handy later such as sales, customer management and branding… To prepare for this, I need high quality English skills and a specific direction for my career. While going UNG, I hope to gain language and culture understanding as well as deep thinking toward my direction in a peaceful atmosphere. Most of all, I now become a marketing intern in this university, so I think it is easier for me to get my goal. For these reasons, UNG is the best choice for me.

I’m a very active person, so I love meeting people everywhere and every time. But I like alone time sometimes, too. I traveled across Europe alone last summer, experienced many things, and became better person before. Again, I hope I meet good people, learn practical marketing skills, and get wider horizon toward the world during my internship period.
