Would you pay $15 to opt out of ads? The new Kindle line was announced last week. When locked, all of the new devises were said to have Amazon’s “Special offers” ads displayed on the screens. People responded to this action in mass, taking their comments to the newest form of a complaint box, social media. Now, Amazon has said that users can now “opt out” of seeing these ads on their Kindle devises. The Catch—it’ll cost ‘em. Users will be able to pay a one-time fee of $15 to not see these special offers on their locked screens. So I’m curious, would you pay the money to have an ad-free device? Or would you just ignore the ads since they only pop-up when your device is not really in use? Have an other opinion? Hit the comments and let us know what you think on the matter!
