Hello, I’m Patrick Brehe, a senior writing and publication major at the University of North Georgia. I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and moved to Georgia with my family when I was two. I’ve wanted to be a writer since elementary school when I wrote my first short work of fiction for a class assignment. It was then that I realized I wanted to spend my life creating stories that could take people to far places and give them something to think about whenever they needed an escape from the ordinary. When I’m not writing stories or going to school, I like to spend my spare time composing and recording music (I play a little bit of guitar and a little bit of drums), as well as reading books and watching television shows that empower my imagination to write about new worlds and see things with different perspectives. I also hold an exorbitant amount of love for food, which entails both the tendency to spend too much at restaurants and the desire to cook on any given day.
